The Senior Account Executive is an advanced account management position. This role requires management of a large book of business, more than seven years of experience in an Account Executive role, and advanced designations. The Senior Account Executive will provide a high level of support to the Principals and/or service to our clients. The position requires a significant degree of independent judgment and discretion to meet those service levels. Responsibilities include assisting in marketing and service in coordination with Principals and other Agency personnel.
The Senior Account Executive has superior product knowledge and is familiar with the specific products offered by the Agency's carriers. The Senior Account Executive will assist in the production of new and renewal accounts in keeping with Agency and individual Principal's goals and provide field service in support of Producer activities.
The Senior Account Executive is responsible for assisting clients with service needs and making changes to existing accounts. The Senior Account Executive will work with the Principals to design and recommend proper insurance and risk management programs to Agency clients.
This position is open to be filled in either Melville, NY or White Plains, NY.
The Senior Claims Specialist independently and pro-actively manages the property/casualty claims for assigned large and mid-market commercial clients. Heavy concentration on real estate and habitation accounts. Monitors and reviews all new claims for designated clients and establishes a plan of action to achieve a favorable claim resolution. Attends and facilitates client meetings and claim reviews. Reviews claim status and reserves in consideration of client costs. Negotiates for changes in reserves for a positive client outcome. Provides status reports to clients and keeps Producers, Account Executives and Claims Manager informed. Advocates, consults and provides coverage advice to clients as appropriate. Actively researches and obtains claims data from carriers and challenges adjusters as warranted, while advocating the best possible outcome for clients in accordance with service standards.
