Overview

The Regional Recruiter is a full-cycle Recruiter dedicated to providing recruitment strategy and support for their assigned region. By partnering with the business to identify and understand talent needs, sourcing a pipeline of candidates through internal and external resources, conducting interviews, negotiating offers, and managing the candidate experience, the Regional Recruiter will be an integral part in ensuring AssuredPartners meets it’s talent goals.

Responsibilities

Please note that the duties below can vary based on the workflow of your local office.

  • Partnering with Managers to clarify and understand talent needs and what success looks like.
  • Responsible for all aspects of employee recruiting for all positions within the region to include developing sourcing strategies, screening resumes, interviewing candidates (by phone and in person), administering appropriate assessment and reference/background checking, making recommendations, and delivering employment offers for intern, graduate, exempt, and nonexempt position openings.
  • Locating new places and new ways to source the best candidates in this competitive talent market.
  • Managing region-specific College, University, Corporate, and Resource Group relationships to ensure AP has a sufficient and diverse talent pool.
  • Maintaining open communication with Hiring Managers to keep them updated on open positions.
  • Advocate for both Hiring Managers and Candidates to ensure a clear and interactive hiring process focused on stakeholder and candidate experience.
  • Designing and owning recruitment projects and initiatives to improve current processes (AP scholarship programs, employee referral programs, etc.).
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Travel is required during busy recruitment seasons.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience; or equivalent combination of education/training and experience.
  • Excellent sourcing skills and familiarity with various sourcing tools, techniques, and softwares (experience with iCims (ATS) a plus).
  • Excellent sales, presentation and communication skills.
  • Effective multi-tasking and time management skills to drive high-volume recruitment with sense of urgency. Ability to maintain extreme confidentiality and exercise independent judgement and discretion.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
