Overview

The Director of IT Intergrations and Program Management is responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and implementation of project efforts that utilize information technology solutions, principles, standards, and best practices. Develops, establishes, and maintains project management standards and procedures. Throughout the project lifecycle, obtains feedback to ensure that project efforts meet customer expectations for contracted time, cost, and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of technology projects
  • Strong expertise in leading PMO office
  • Extensive experience Managing large Marketing and business operations programs
  • Align programs, projects and operations to AP’s strategic objectives
  • Measure, rank and prioritize programs and projects
  • Oversees adherence to Project Management practices
  • Capture and help prioritize project change requests that can include new requirements, features, functions, operational constraints, regulatory demands and technical enhancements
  • Facilitate estimation and management of the financial resources of a project or group of projects
  • Produce Regular Project Reporting
  • Escalate project issues to leadership as needed
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, or higher education level, or foreign equivalent, preferably in area with Information Technology or Software Engineering emphasis.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ professional experience, preferably in implementing software applications
  • Experience in Project managing Insurance and/or Banking software applications
  • Extensive experience in systems architecture and IT operations
  • Experience with systems integration (i.e. Policy, Billing, Claims, Reinsurance, third-party systems)
  • Facilitation experience for conducting stakeholder meetings
  • Familiar with Joint Application Design (JAD) session, rapid prototyping and similar approaches
  • Familiar with business process design concepts and principles
