Job Summary:

AssuredPartners is a nationwide insurance brokerage focused on providing clients with best-in-class asset protection and unparalleled service. AssuredPartners Investment Advisors is focused on meeting the retirement plan needs of AssuredPartners’ clients. To help meet the needs of middle market employers, AssuredPartners Investment Advisors is introducing a Pooled Employer Plan and is looking for an experienced professional to support clients through the adoption process. The Transition Specialist will own the adoption process and work directly with five (5) to ten (10) clients at a time to ensure a smooth adoption into the Pooled Employer Plan.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


The Transition Specialist will be integral to AssuredPartners Investment Advisors meeting its twin goals of servicing AssuredPartners’ clients retirement plan needs and driving new revenue. Specifically, the Transaction Specialist will own the adoption process for the Pooled Employer and work with clients to:

  • Prepare the necessary adoption paperwork;
  • Work with third parties to gather the information necessary to complete the adoption process;
  • Manage and eliminate outstanding items; and
  • Conduct weekly status calls with clients and service providers.

In addition, the Transition Specialist will

  • Track and report data related to the adoption process;
  • Identify and eliminate bottlenecks within the adoption process;
  • Work with the internal marketing department to develop external and internal communications about the adoption process and the AssuredPartners Pooled Employer Plan; and
  • Support internal initiatives related to the Pooled Employer Plan.



  • At least 3 years’ experience working with defined contribution retirement plans;
  • Basic knowledge of investments
  • Good understanding of retirement plan design & compliance requirements
  • Must be customer-service oriented, and work well in a team environment
  • Willingness and ability to learn on the job
  • Very good organization skills
  • Series 6,63 & 65 or Series 7 & 66 are recommended, but not required
  • Life & Health license is recommended, but not required
