 Essential Duties and Responsibilities include pulling the following. Other duties may be assigned.

      • Crime Index Reports
      • Cyber Vulnerability and Benchmarking Reports
      • Property Hazard Reports
      • Flood Zone Determinations (and mapping when needed)
        • Review and confirm FEMA flood zone status of property.
      • Location Schedules AKA Statement of Values
        • Review, update and confirm building characteristics.
        • Building breakouts; separating one location on one row (in Excel) into one row per building.
      • Limit Adequacy Reports (Slang – Limit Batching)
      • Loss Run Summaries
        • Reading and interpreting loss runs, ensuring all loss runs needed are accounted for.
        • Collecting critical additional information on individual claims (e.g. ambiguous initial cause of loss)
        • Initial data sorts including locations, perils, frequency, severity, etc.
      • Deductible Summaries by Line of Coverage/Locations
        • Reading and interpreting insurance policy for applicable deductibles.
        • Initial analyses at current deductibles +/- X for comparison.
      • Building Reconstruction Cost Assessments
      • Building Update Reports
        • Highlight electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and roof updates for improved underwriting.
      • Creates visual representations of data that summarize portfolio risk analyses for simple end-consumption.
      • Maintains own connectivity with databases and understands available reports. Analysts maintain and collaborate with team to create over 20 logins to internal/external programs, necessary to work.
      • Assists in evaluating current product results; identifying needs to be filled; monitoring competitive options.
      • Sets appropriate timelines to ensure that expectations and turnaround times are met.
      • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
      • Provides technical guidance and training to other team members as assigned.
      • Completes and submits all required reports based on assigned deadlines.
      • Participates in meetings as scheduled.
      • Contributes to the team goals by accomplishing related projects.

    Education and/or Experience                                                   

    Five or more years of industry experience or a Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Degree in economics, mathematics, computer science or actuary science is preferred.
