Summary:

Provide support to the President as respects the operations of the Davenport office, as well as management of service staff, all in accordance with the objectives and procedures outlined by the organization.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. 

 

  • Administrative & Operations
    • Implement solutions for issues with building, equipment and supplies
  • Interview/ Hire/ Fire/ Supervise support staff
    • Upload reports to AP as the Quality Control Liaiso
    • Administer carrier websites access for staff (CL/PL)
    • Coordinate agency management meetings
  • Commercial Lines
    • Interview/ Hire/ Fire/ Supervise support staff
    • Assign Marketing Account Manager for Prospects
    • Reassign Workloads
    • Implement Commercial Lines initiatives
    • Audit/file surplus lines
  • Employee Benefits
    • Interview/Hire/Fire/Supervise support staff

EDUCATION

  • College degree or equivalent training and/or experience preferred.
  • Professional insurance designation or working toward

LICENSING and CERTIFICATION

  • Insurance Agent’s License for resident state.

WORKING HOURS and TRAVEL

  • Full Time position
  • Average no more than 1-2 out of town trips per year to attend training sessions
