Summary:

Assists and provides backup accounting support with company payables, direct bill production and general administrative functions within the accounting department.  Primarily responsible for (1) processing carrier payable checks and (2) assisting team members with various administrative duties.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Data entry of direct bill production into accounting system according to company procedures. 
  • Compiles and sorts documents, such as invoices and checks, and routes invoices to the appropriate individual for review and approval and processing.  Assists with the filing of accounting support documentation in a timely manner.   
  • Prepares monthly close journal entries for various outside agencies for their data migration.
  • Assists with month end close. 
  • Follows company procedures with respect to all essential duties and responsibilities of the job.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications, Education and/or Experience:

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.                                               
  • One year related experience and/or training.
