Manages all activities related to the service operations of the agency in order to allow Agency President to concentrate on the development of the sales team and office growth. May also manage administrative staff and service a book of business.


 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overall direction of the service departments within the agency either directly or indirectly through department managers and / or team leaders. This includes, but is not limited to interviewing, hiring, training, assigning/directing work, performance evaluations, addressing complaints, resolving problems, and evalaution of agency work loads.
  • Drives agency efficiencies and evaluates and makes adjustment to service departments staff workloads as necessary. Conducts monthly staff meetings. Assists Agency President with budget preparation and manages to the budget within the offices.
  • Provides support to agency sales function by leading and developing the service team.
  • Enforces compliance with corporate and regional policies, procedures, workflows and new initiatives. May serve as agency AP Quality Control Liaison.
  • Works closely with Regional P&C Operations team by participating in monthly conference calls and attending annual workshops.
  • May be also be responsible for servicing a book of business.
  • Agency liaison with top carriers. Schedules meetings to foster relationships and growth.
  • Manages staff of all service departments either directly or indirectly through department managers and / or team leaders.


Minimum Qualifications, Education and/or Experience:

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • Valid insurance license.
