As a college intern, you will have the opportunity to work with an insurance operations mentor throughout the duration of your internship, as well as learn more about different departments and opportunities across AssuredPartners, with the potential of returning to AssuredPartners full-time, post-graduation.

 

Overview of Role:

As an Insurance Operations Intern, you will gain an understanding of Insurance Operations from a Corporate perspective.  This program will serve to provide you with insight into the administration and oversight of the various national programs and initiatives that currently fall within the scope of Insurance Operations. 

Responsibilities

Overview of Primary Responsibilities:

During our Internship Program, you will:

 

  • Participate in the Insurance Operations Compliance Review process.
  • Participate in the Insurance Operations Due Diligence process.
  • Participate in the monthly administration of the AP National Sales Contest.
  • Participate in the New Acquisition Onboarding process.
  • Participate in the Revenue Recognition Newsletter process.
  • Participate in reviewing Revenue Recognition reports for the purpose of identifying data integrity issues.
  • Participate with updating the Revenue Recognition Field Manual & Process Manual as needed.
  • Observe and assist with updating the various IO SharePoint sites as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Follow company policies with respect to all essential duties and responsibilities.

  • Must be enrolled in post-secondary education, ideally in a degree program concentrating in Risk Management & Insurance, Business Admin, Human Resources, etc.
  • Ideal candidates will be professional and congenial - with inquisitive personalities and the ability to think critically.
  • Must be driven, self-starting, and coachable while demonstrating a high level of maturity.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common business documents, and a high capacity for learning is critical.
