Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist other team members, with an emphasis as a subject matter expert in the agency management, document imaging and certificate issuance systems
  • Assist the Account Managers by providing service to the client regarding their insurance policies, such as:
    • Issue proof of the client's insurance to their vendors and creditors
    • Make changes to policies as instructed by the Account Manager or Client
    • Communicate with insurance company staff on behalf of the Account Manager
  • Update the agency database for assigned accounts
    • Invoice and review for accuracy endorsements, audits, and policies
    • Report discrepancies to the Account Manager
    • Review activity lists for pending activities
    • Send correspondence and set appropriate activity follow-up
  • Pursue a program of personal and professional development


Minimum Qualifications, Education and/or Experience:

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.                                    
  • One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic understanding of underwriting and insurance coverages.
