The Personal Lines Team Leader assists the Personal Lines Manager with supervision of personnel, provides intensive training to new employees and monitors and troubleshoots computer issues within the department.


The Team Leader has Account management responsibilities including a book of business, and provides customer service by handling the day to day operations of clients' insurance needs.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes skills and resources to maximize workflow efficiency and productivity.
  • Updates Procedures Manual for tracking accurate data and audits.
  • Assists all offices with underwriting, servicing problems, computer issues, and contacting agency management vendor if necessary.
  • Creates and reviews monthly reports for tracking; performs Agency management system cleanup, daily download errors and website administration.
  • Assists with acquisitions when necessary, including travel to train staff, system configuration and download installation.


Minimum Qualifications, Education and/or Experience:                                          

  • Five or more years of industry experience. Advanced understanding of underwriting and insurance coverages.
  • Full knowledge of insurance markets.
