Insurance Processing / Customer Service Representative Assistant

AssuredPartners in Cape Coral is seeking a support person with an insurance license (440 or 220) to assist the Account Managers with Commercial Insurance clients. Must be a high school graduate or equivalent and college is a plus. EPIC agency management system experience a plus plus!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


Answer phones, greet visitors, process certificates of insurance, update payroll charts, pull/order loss runs & update loss summaries on larger clients, pull monthly reports & keep payroll chart on larger clients, help with claim follow up, scan in items, process smaller direct bill renewals that account manager has reviewed check on payments for non-pay cancels on smaller accounts, DB statements, run expiration lists.


Making packets, spreadsheets, update info in EPIC agency management system, checking life policy status and ordering office supplies.



Teamwork, accountability, and attention to detail are a must. Ability to multi task and prioritize is critical as well as initiative and motivation.


Duties include accounting and general office, data entry, spreadsheets, certificates of insurance, reviews and rating. Congenial personality and gets along well with others, strong work ethic, honest and dependable with a helpful attitude required.


Aptitude with computer programs, MS Office, Windows, Excel, Applied/EPIC experience.
