The AssuredPartners Internal Communications Specialist is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with internal parties to properly communicate and promote company goals, including message development, sales wins, general updates, newsletters and story development to promote our company culture.  This role will be responsible for determining the proper distribution channels and delivery system for the messaging at hand.


  • Development, coordination and distribution of communications within the company through internal outreach, social media and media outreach
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal department leaders to increase visibility and communications throughout organization
  • Assist department and regional leaders with ongoing communications strategies to ensure proper messaging and encouragement
  • Identify target audiences and create communication strategies to effectively engage them

Education and/or Experience                                                   

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university in marketing, communications or technical writing; or a minimum of five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Computer Skills                                               

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS SharePoint.


Language Skills                                                

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
