  • Overview

    This position will play an integral role in the Legal Department by gathering documents and information needed to respond to information requests by regulatory agencies and other third parties, providing support for attorneys for litigation and other matters, maintaining and updating contracts, along with various other administrative and organizational tasks.  


    • Maintain and update forms and templates for contracts and releases
    • Assist field personnel in finding the correct contract for their needs
    • Gather documents and information from field offices to respond to subpoenas and complaints
    • Review and organize documents for subpoena production
    • Assist in coordination of insurance compliance objectives, including researching compliance topics
    • Provide attorneys with general organizational support and other administrative duties
    • Identifies opportunities to improve efficiency within the department
    • Collaborate efficiently and effectively with other team members

    • Bachelor's degree and Paralegal certification (required)
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience
    • Advanced Experience with Microsoft Office, Word and Excel in particular
    • Excellent written (including contract drafting and editing) and verbal communication skills
    • Proven ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks
    • Must have knowledge of the insurance field
    • Must have experience working in-house for an insurance company or agency, or an insurance defense firm
    • Must have experience maintaining and updating forms and templates
