    Through our 10-week summer internship, the Sales Executive Intern will be exposed to AssuredPartners’ various product verticals. Through an immersive shadowing program, interns experience the real client prospecting pipeline within the diverse Property & Casualty and Employee Benefits brokerage spaces. Interns are paired with a mentor(s) within the sales team to assist with prospecting activities, professional development, marketing plan development, and cross discipline training. Through a structured internship program, interns will develop personal goals, receive constant feedback, collaborate on and present an internship project to company leadership, and gain exposure to the many facets of AssuredPartners organization.


    Although the start date is flexible, the internship will start in May and conclude in August. The internship is full-time (37.5 hours/week).


    What You’ll Do:

    • Develop and implement cold call scripts.
    • Audits census information.
    • Accompany Sales Producers on sales calls.
    • Assist with prospecting.
    • Utilize our CRM to track leads and prospects.
    • Gather quotations for clients and vendors.
    • Copy data and compile records and reports.
    • Tabulatesand posts data in appropriate customer contact system or in data base or spreadsheet formats.




    Your Background:

    • Currently enrolled in college and pursuing a degree in Risk Management & Insurance, Business, Marketing, Communications, Sales, or a related field.
    • Excellent researching skills; ability to find new creative angles of approach.
    • Self-motivated, self-starter, self-learner.
    • Highly articulate, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Superb interpersonal skills with experience working in a closely-knit team.
    • Ability to quickly adapt to changing situations and environments and handle ambiguity.
    • Motivated problem solver that is quick to learn.
