Summary: The Account Representative will work collaboratively with the Account Executive and the Producer as the dedicated point of contact for clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Includes the following (other duties may be assigned):
Manages day-to-day service for. Properly sets expectations for issue resolution, monitors progress and communicates outcomes. Updates Agency Management System in a timely manner including updates to on-going activity. Conducts quarterly service status calls to assigned book of business clients. Market annual renewals according to company policy. Recommend information about other products and services for additional organic sales growth. Remain abreast of the health insurance environment and constantly changing insurance legislation. Represent AssuredPartners in a positive and professional manner with both internal and external customers.
Conduct implementation activities for new and existing clients. Oversees installation of the group or renewal. Assists in completion and processing of applications. Schedules, prepares for and conducts open enrollment meetings. Collects forms/data/schedules for regulatory compliance. Finalizes enrollment with carrier. Reports results to Producer.

Follows up on delinquent premium notices per procedure.
Follows agency policies and procedures including but not limited to client files, HIPAA compliance, and delinquent premium notices.
Updates Agency management system within thirty days after sale or renewal (plan changes, rate acceptance, etc.).
Participates in special projects/teams. Identifies areas to assist team members. Assists in workflow review and improvement initiatives.
Qualifications: .Must be proficient with Excel and Power Point. Critical thinking and Problem-solving skills are a must. Education and/or Experience
College degree or 2+ years of experience equivalent.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
All applicable insurance licenses- Life & Health
Self-Funded health plan knowledge and experience a plus!
Ability to read and interpret documents such as insurance policies, Agency policies and procedures, and safety rules. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of agency management software; Internet software; spreadsheet software, PowerPoint, word processing software and Microsoft Outlook.
