    Job Title: Client Billing Assistant (Part-Time)

    Department: Operations

    Reports to: Client Accounting Supervisor

    FLSA Status: Non-exempt


    Summary: This position is responsible for supporting the operations team with a variety of administrative tasks.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

    • Audit and review client billing statements for accuracy.
    • Reviews spreadsheets for accuracy for various members of the operations team.
    • Scan and copy documents.
    • Provide appropriate timelines to internal and external clients to ensure that expectations and turnaround times are met.
    • Work independently and within the team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
    • Represent AP Benefit Advisors in a positive and professional fashion with both internal and external customers.
    • Contribute to the team goals by accomplishing related projects.
    • Maintain composure and effectiveness under pressure in a deadline driven environment.
    • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

    Education and/or Experience:                                                   

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications – excellent Excel skills preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability to learn new software systems.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and to respond to needs of teammates without jeopardizing client deliverables.
    • Strong research skills and an ability to resolve a majority of issues without assistance.
    • Experience in related role and knowledge of health, life, and disability plans preferred by not required.
