    Job Title: FSA Administrator

    Department: Operations

    Reports to: Production Supervisor 

    FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

     

    Summary: This position is responsible for leading the implementation of new client set-up and existing client renewals, will serve as the main point of contact during implementation, post-open enrollment setup, and participant eligibility, and contribution monitoring, and will maintain accuracy of all applicable systems on an ongoing basis.  This role includes all FSA/HRA and HSA products and services that AP Benefit Advisors offers for clients. 

    Responsibilities

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Includes the following:

    • Implement new groups on the APBA reimbursement platform – coordinate plan design, incorporate co-pays into reimbursement schedule, setup, etc.
    • Complete post-open enrollment process for new and existing clients including entering plan and participant data accurately into the APBA’s reimbursement platform, ordering debit cards and coordinating FSA informational packets sent to all participants.
    • Upload client payroll deduction files into APBA’s reimbursement platforms to fund the FSA elections (including health care FSA, dependent care reimbursement account, parking/transit account) and audit the payroll deduction file data on a quarterly basis to ensure accuracy.
    • Run eligibility reports from bSwift and update APBA’s reimbursement platform with the employee enrollments, terminations and changes accordingly.
    • Audit all eligibility data on a bi-monthly basis for all clients.
    • Key client participant enrollment data into APBA’s reimbursement platform using established office procedures.
    • Partner with the client’s Account Manager to ensure a smooth transition through minimizing operations impact and managing risk via continuous communication and quick resolution of problems.
    • Prepare change-orders and send them to Account Managers to re-align processing standards with client-specific “exceptions” and “special requests” (hold harmless/change order processing).
    • Assist client contacts with general insurance rules and compliance.
    • Review benefit communication material for accuracy and completeness.
    • Represent AP Benefit Advisors in a positive and professional fashion with both internal and external customers.
    • Provide team and client with appropriate timelines to ensure that expectations and turnaround times are met.
    • Maintain composure and effectiveness under pressure in a deadline driven environment.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    • 2-Year or 4-Year College Degree Preferred
    • 2+ years of office environment working experience or combination of education and/or equivalent work experience
    • Life and Health Insurance License and/or obtain within 90 days
    • Strong PC skills with the aptitude to learn new systems
    • Knowledge of Health plans, Health & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, and Parking/Transit plans, HRAs and HSAs.
