    Summary The Senior Account Executive is a leading account management position and will provide a high level of sales support to the Producer, the service team, and customer service to clients. The position requires a significant degree of independent judgment and discretion in order to meet those service levels. The Senior Account Executive is also responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with other internal and external business partners.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Includes the following (other duties may be assigned):


    Assist in selling, direct selling, marketing, and customer service in coordination with the Producer and other Agency personnel.


    Directs customer specific initiatives in collaboration with the Producer which deliver value added services through the execution of client specific business plans and service time lines.


    Directs account team to insure client’s needs are met and acts as project manager. Coordinates efforts of Employee Benefits team assigned to the client.


    Understands the client’s business and assists in developing Employee Benefit programs that supports the client’s goals and objectives.


    Identifies opportunities for adding other lines of coverage or services. Makes sale.

    Assures that service issues, claims, billing, and eligibility are resolved in a timely manner for the client or the carrier.

    Education and/or Experience

    College degree or equivalent experience.


    Language Skills                                                                                                                                                                  

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as insurance policies, Agency policies and procedures, and safety rules. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.


    Mathematical Skills                  

    Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.


    Reasoning Ability                  

    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.


    Computer Skills                  

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of agency management software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software, PowerPoint, Word Processing software and Microsoft Outlook.
