    Summary   The Agency Contract Administrator manages Agency and subsidiary licenses. This position also may be responsible for managing the Agency's insurance carrier contracts.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


    Works directly with the Director of Marketing and insurance carriers to ensure that the Agency is properly contracted, licensed and appointed to transact business.


    Informs carriers of all acquisitions. Obtains all necessary legal documents to notify existing carriers of acquisitions. Works with carriers to appoint newly acquired entity.


    Acts as the Administrator for many of the carrier web sites. Assigns passwords for new employees. Deletes passwords for terminated employees.


    Registers various business entities with the appropriate authority to transact business as a corporation with the Secretary of States.


    Allocates annual contingency payments received from the carriers with whom we are contracted.


    Follows all company policies and procedures with respect to the Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the job.


    Education and/or Experience                                                  

    Post-secondary degree; or four or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


    Language Skills                                               

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.


    Mathematical Skills                                                    

    Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.


    Reasoning Ability                                            

    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.


    Computer Skills                                              

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Agency management systems; Database software; Excel, Word, Outlook, and internet.


    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

    Insurance license preferred.


    Other Skills and Abilities                                            

    Full knowledge of insurance markets.
