    Summary

    The Member Service Representative (Account Coordinator) will ensure accurate and efficient processing of all group enrollment, termination and changes; manage the administration of client online enrollment portals; and respond to member inquiries. This individual will work in collaboration with all members of the Employee Benefits Team to provide exceptional customer service while handling assigned tasks in a timely manner.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Includes the following (other duties may be assigned):

     

    • Process all enrollments, terminations and changes within a 48-hour time frame.
    • Install, maintain and train clients on applicable online enrollment portals. Become a benefit online enrollment system expert.
    • Maintain open and clear communication channels with clients, producers and team members.
    • Consistently follow up, in a timely manner, on outstanding issues that may arise.
    • Maintain a high degree of precision on details work and ensure own work quality.
    • Accurately enters all necessary information in EPIC to ensure proper documentation.
    • Bring to the account managers attention any client issues that arise.
    • Answer the member services line and provide professional, exceptional customer service to clients, vendors, carriers, etc.
    • Reply to client questions, concerns and needs without delay.
    • Order ID cards for participants upon request

    Qualifications

    Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.     • Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written to include a command of industry terminology.
    • Must have exceptional commitment to customers and have the desire to provide legendary service.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, EPIC client management system, internet navigation and working in a paperless environment.
    • College degree preferred.
    • Possession of good reasoning skills.
    • Obtain Life & Health Insurance License within 6-9 months. Maintain insurance license in good standing, completing all continuing education and renewals as required.
