    Summary The Strategic Account Executive is a leading account management position and will provide a high level of sales support to the Producer, the service team, and customer service to clients. The position requires a significant degree of independent judgment and discretion in order to meet those service levels. The Strategic Account Executive is also responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with other internal and external business partners.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Duties

    Assists in selling, direct selling, marketing, and customer service in coordination with the Producer and other Agency personnel.

     

    Directs customer specific initiatives in collaboration with the Producer which deliver value added services through the execution of client specific business plans and service time lines.

     

    Directs account team to insure client’s needs are met and acts as project manager (coordinates efforts of Producer, Financial Analyst, Proposal Analyst, Account Manager, IT, Wellness specialist, and enrollment specialist).

     

    Understands the client’s business and assists in developing Employee Benefit programs that supports the client’s goals and objectives.

     

    Identifies opportunities for adding other lines of coverage or services. Makes sale.

     

    Assures that service issues, claims, billing, and eligibility are resolved in a timely manner for the client or the carrier.

     

    Supervisory Responsibilities  

    Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Agency's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    Education and/or Experience

    College degree or equivalent experience.
