    Summary The Employee Benefits Account Representative supports the Account Executives and Producers in the service of employee benefits with the efficient delivery of products, services and analysis in accordance with the clients’ benefits strategy.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Support Director, Senior Account Managers and Account Managers with client service responsibilities.
    • Process client requests for services and submit information to the appropriate insurance companies.
    • Maintain copies of client files in accordance with agency standards.
    • Assist in preparation and production of professional materials for presentations according to agency standards.
    • Assist in preparation of census data and utilize quoting tools in preparation for proposals and client presentations.
    • Provide efficient and professional customer service to a wide client base.
    • Assist with one-on-one and small group benefit orientations.
    • Assist with billing and enrollment audits on a regular basis.
    • Assist in training other employees at management’s request.
    • Adhere to agency procedures, insurance company standards and regulatory guidelines. 

    Qualifications

    MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

    Life and Health license or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment

    Use of Zywave a plus

    College or industry training

    1-3 years insurance a plus

    Computer knowledge a must – Specifically Adobe, Advanced Word, Excel, and Outlook

    Customer service experience

    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

    Attention to detail
