    Job Title: EB Proposal Analyst

    Department: Marketing

    Reports To: President

    FLSA Status: Non -Exempt

     

    Summary The Proposal Analyst works in conjunction with Sales Team, Account Management Team, Carrier and Third Party Administrator partners to obtain rates and produce professional client ready proposals. 

    Responsibilities

    Essential Duties

    • Obtain carrier quotes and review for accuracy.
    • Insert data into internal template and delivers in presentation format during the implementation process for all group clients.
    • Provide team and client with appropriate timelines to ensure that expectations and turnaround times are met.
    • Manage the internal quoting system to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
    • Work closely with account managers, account executives, and sales executives on new business, renewal spreadsheets and client meeting materials.
    • Maintain customer records by updating account information in company database when applicable.
    • Provide technical guidance and training to other team members on RFP process.
    • Represent AP Benefit Advisors in a positive and professional fashion with both internal and external customers.
    • Act as an advocate on behalf of our clients and develop positive relationships with vendor representatives.
    • Remain abreast of the health insurance environment and constantly changing insurance legislation.
    • Respond to routine and non-routine correspondence.
    • Work independently and within the team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
    • Represent AP Benefit Advisors in a positive and professional manner with both internal and external customers.
    • Maintain composure and effectiveness under pressure in a deadline driven environment.
    • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

    Skills, Education and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree and/or employee benefits insurance experience
    • Life and Health Insurance License and/or obtain within 90 days
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
    • Strong PC skills with the aptitude to learn new systems
    • Knowledge of health, life and disability plans preferred
