Overview

Job Title: Customer Service Assistant

Department: Customer Service and FSA/HRA

Reports To: Customer Service Supervisor 

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Job Category: Part-Time

 

The customer service assistant will support the customer service representatives by entering client data into the system, processing employee changes and terminations, tracking carrier or client issues, and other duties as assigned.

 

Responsibilities

Essential Duties

  • Provides support to customer service department and/or FSA department
  • Assists with preparation of various client correspondence
  • Monitors client email boxes
  • Updates customer information in various databases
  • Scans and copies documents
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience                                               

One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic understanding of insurance is highly desired.
