Summary: The CL Marketing Analyst is responsible for providing service support at the direction of the Commercial Lines Manager, Marketing Manager, and Producer. The CL Marketing Analyst provides customer service by handling the day to day operations of clients' insurance needs pertaining to the marketing of the insurance coverage.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in the marketing of new and renewal business according to Agency procedures.
In conjunction with Team members, obtain underwriting information from prospects and/or clients.
Complete new and/or renewal business applications for marketing purposes.
Obtain best pricing and insurance protection for new and existing clients.
Review and analyze quotes including coverage, limits, forms and premiums received from carriers.
Accurately prepare proposals and other necessary documents for presentation to client.
Create issuance instructions of policies, issue binders and other items required to bind insurance coverage.
Document correspondence, written & verbal in The Agency Manager system
Maintain detail knowledge of the products and services offered to clients.
Participates in required continuing professional development.
Follows company procedures with respect to all essential duties and responsibilities of the job.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Agency Management systems, Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must hold current 2-20 General Lines License.

Full knowledge of insurance markets.
