Summary   The Licensing and Appointment Administrator manages Agent and subsidiary licenses. This position is also responsible for assisting the Licensing Manager with projects.


Essential Duties

Processes agent requests for new licenses and license renewals through the licensing database, NIPR website, or state DOI websites.  Forward required documentation to state departments of insurance as needed to complete renewal process.


Performs data entry to maintain licensing database including adding new licensed staff, changing status of terminated licensed staff, and updating agent licensing and appointment information and address changes.


Process changes of business or resident address via NIPR website or by completing appropriate state DOI paperwork. 


Emails or faxes copies of licenses to carriers or staff upon request.

Education and/or Experience                                               


High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Certificates, Licenses, Registrations


All applicable insurance licenses.


Other Skills and Abilities                                          


Full knowledge of insurance markets.
