Summary Compiles, updates, and maintains files, submitting requests to underwriters, obtaining results, and reporting results to appropriate people or companies, and entering data into appropriate customer contact system by performing the following duties.

 

Responsibilities

Essential Duties

 

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

Follows company procedures with respect to all essential duties and responsibilities of the job.

 

Opens and routes incoming mail, answers correspondence, and prepares outgoing mail.

 

Composes routine correspondence and e-mails.

 

Assists Office Manager with special projects.

 

Operates computer terminal to input and retrieve data.

 

Emails and mails insurance documents to clients.

 

Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers and forwards calls to appropriate personnel.

 

Performs other clarical duties as needed, such as filing, scanning and photo coping.

Education and/or Experience                                               

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
