The Systems Accounting Specialist, working hand in hand with the Corporate Conversion Team, will be the main point of contact for the Regions/Offices Accounting/Finance team during all conversions. Will assist and provide guidance in the data mapping, agency management setup and training of the agency accounting staff on the accounting management system. Provide post conversion support as needed and will help to develop standard accounting training/workflow documentation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Please note that the duties below can vary based on the workflow of your local office.
• Act as the lead accounting data analyst for Applied Epic and Vertafore AMS360/BenefitPoint conversions.
• Lead and/or Assist Regions/Offices with configuration changes to the agency management system.
• Lead/Assist Regions/Offices with pre and post conversion cleanup.
• Responsible for transaction import which includes not is not limited to assisting with template setup and processing the import.
• Provide accounting support as needed to Regions/Offices.
• Assist in development and maintenance of the AssuredPartners Accounting Training Program including, but not limited to, training manuals, handouts, recorded training sessions library, monthly training calls.
• Train all front office staff on the accounting workflows and procedures for the Applied Epic system.
• Assist agencies with, at minimum, the first month end close on the new management system.
• Work with Applied, Accounting, IT Departments, and any 3rd party systems as applicable to convert AssuredPartners Agency Management System data successfully and efficiently into Applied Agency Platform.
• Assist the agencies employees before, during, and after conversion to maximize data integration and integrity.
• Participate in, if applicable, the 90-day post conversion optimization meeting with the agency to discover any issues or concerns.
• Travel could be up to 40%.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; or 2-5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 5 years working insurance agency accounting experience.
• Minimum of 5 years Applied Epic, Vertafore BenefitPoint and AMS360 Agency Management System software experience, Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software; Microsoft Visio.
• 1 year Data conversion experience, Application and data support experience preferred.
• Proficient in day-to-day insurance accounting business and workflow processes.
• Valid Property and Casualty Insurance License is a plus.
