Overview

The Benefits System and Compliance Assistant is a dual role supports compliance efforts and client set-up in the employee benefits system, implementation, and maintenance of the administration of clients, and various other operational functions. In addition, this role serves as a support for compliance and regulatory issues.

What You'll Do

 

  • Helping with EB processes from 5500 wrap plan documents, SPD, SMMs. 
  • Keep an annual compliance calendar. 
  • Update clients on deliverables. 
  • Set-up of new client information and updating of renewal information in benefits system.
  • Data entry of rates and employee demographic information during setup process for new clients and renewals.
  • Assist in data integrity reporting by identifying, reconciling, researching and resolcing data discrepancies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need

  • 1-3 years of related employee benefits administration experience
  • Experience using Employee Navigator, a plus
  • Strong organization and communication skills 
  • Results oriented with strong attention to detail 
  • Tech savvy; ability to learn multiple systems. Proficient in Microsoft Excel
