The Account Manager Team Leader provides a high level of support to team members, including Account Coordinators and Account Managers within the Commercial Lines department. This role requires a significant degree of independent judgment and discretion.

• Ensures accuracy of account information for new and renewal polices and endorsements. 
• Audits for accuracy in rating, typing, coverages and signatures.
• Provides oversight and assistance to support staff members.
• Maintains accounts and activities per Agency procedures.
• Serves as a mentor, positive role model and trainer to staff.
• Performs annual Employee Performance Appraisals for team members.
• Resolve Employee Relations issues with assistance from Human Resources and Senior Management.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Advanced degree from college or technical school
• Property and Casualty License required
• Management experience preferred but not required
• 1-3 years of experience in commercial property and casualty insurance 
• Tech savvy; ability to navigate multiple systems including Agency Management Software; intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products
• Professional designations preferred
