Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Operations and Marketing Intern. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales operations, data analysis, process optimization, and sales marketing. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sales, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement.

 

This is an in-person/office internship.

The Summer AP Internship program takes place for 10 weeks over the course of the summer from 6/02/25-8/8/25. 

Pay Rate: $16 an hour

 

National Internship Program:

Our program was created in 2020 to encourage and support growth of our next generation of talent. Since then, we have provided a place for over 180 interns nationwide to find meaningful professional development experiences within the insurance industry each year. During our 10-week program, interns present new ideas and help contribute to building our culture. Join us this summer and grow with the support of a dedicated mentor, be exposed to leadership, departments, and other interns, and create lasting connections.

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the management and maintenance of sales data and CRM system (Salesforce).
  • Support the sales team across the region with data analysis and reporting to drive strategic decisions.
  • Assist in planning the continuous improvement of established training and development programs in the region.
  • Help streamline sales processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Participate in the preparation of sales presentations and proposals.
  • Provide administrative support to the sales operations team as needed.

Sales Marketing Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and execution of sales marketing campaigns.
  • Create and manage content for sales marketing materials, including brochures, emails, and social media posts.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to align sales and marketing strategies.

What You'll Need

  • Must be enrolled in post-secondary education, ideally in a degree program in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Prior experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus. Or interest in learning our CRM system.
