Overview

The Marketing Representative is a business development coordinator, working closely with our internal Sales Team and external business partners.  As part of the Marketing Team, the Representative will assist with developing partnerships with Centers of Influence, create brand and value focused campaigns, coordinating/attending events, oversee lead intake and support sales producers while fostering relationships with our internal and external customers.  Role is hybrid.

What You'll Do

Please note that the duties below can vary based on the workflow of your local office.

  • Sources, develops and nurtures professional partnerships with centers of influence to produce warm insurance leads
  • Coordinates and attends networking events, trade shows and other sponsored events to develop professional connections and nurture company brand
  • Serves as a resource for Producers and assists in executing marketing/business development strategies and objectives.
  • Maintains marketing database including customer/prospect files. Makes recommendations that influence departmental decisions
  • Oversee client/lead intake to obtain pertinent information and sends new business submissions to Producers  
  • Tracks relationship activity and lead data to measure/analyze efforts towards goals
  • Must regularly work with internal colleagues and external clients, vendors and business partners
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Travel is expected to events and to the on-site office in Lake Mary

What You'll Need

  • Advanced degree from college or technical school; or 2-5 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid applicable insurance license(s); or ability to obtain in 12 months.
  • Tech savvy; ability to navigate multiple systems including Salesforce, Canva, Agency Management Software and Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience with social media trends and graphic design.
  • Prior business development experience or real estate/mortgage/title industry experience
  • Personal Lines Insurance Sales experience
