Overview

The Administrative Assistant is someone who is proficient with excel, organized, and Attention to detail is a must, this job is extremely detailed. This role compiles, updates, and maintains files. Additionally, this role assists with on-boarding newly acquired insurance agency contracts and necessary changes to existing insurance agency contracts

What You'll Do

  • Works directly with the Regional Carrier Contracting Manager, AssuredPartners’ agencies, and insurance carriers to ensure that the Agency is properly contracted and appointed to transact business.
  • Informs carriers of all acquisitions. Obtains all necessary legal documents to notify existing carriers of acquisitions. Works with carriers to appoint newly acquired entity.
  • Assists with regional and corporate on-boarding during the mergers and acquisitions process.
  • Utilization of Smartsheet to manage projects and maintain pertinent documents and related notes.
  • Follows all company policies and procedures with respect to the Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the job.

What You'll Need

  • High School Diploma or GED and related administrative work experience and/or training preferred
  • Prior experience processing contracts and documentation of that nature.
  • Knowledge of insurance markets a plus.
  • Working knowledge of all database software, excel, word and outlook.
  • Working knowledge of Smartsheet preferred.
  • Insurance license preferred.
