Overview

The Director of EB Product drives the technology utilization and adoption within our Employee Benefits division to support the sales and service model of the AssuredPartners retail division. They work closely with the EB Practice Leader and EB Operations Leader to enable our sales and service initiatives through these products. In this role, the Director primarily oversees the configuration and setup of our BenefitPoint and ImageRight database, while also implementing additional products related to RFP tools, compliance resources, enrollment technology, and other technology. The Director works closely with the end-users to obtain knowledge regarding how our service staff works today and how technology should serve the end-user to enhance the client and employee experience. In addition, the Director of EB Product plays a critical role in supporting agencies as they convert into the BenefitPoint and ImageRight database, as well as through the implementation of new technology, by partnering with the Change, Data Conversion, Training, Operations, and Implementation teams.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee and lead the configuration and design process of our future BenefitPoint and ImageRight databases
  • Partner with the EB Workflow and Process Leader to ensure designed workflows are configured in the system
  • Work closely with the field and corporate resources to align on the servicing model for our various Employee Benefit departments to ensure tools and technology properly enable their success, relative to small group, large group, individual, and the various funding methods
  • Manage all vendor relationships related to current and prospective EB products
  • Oversees all system upgrades and functionality changes to partner with Change, Training, and Operations to align on enhancements and impacts to the field
  • Partner with the Workflow & Process Leader to drive the testing strategy for all EB products, ensuring workflows and utilization are aligned with expected standards
  • Partner with the Data and Implementation team to understand the current operations, workflows, structure, and processes of converting agencies to ensure any changes to operations are accounted for as it relates to product utilization, working with Change and Training as needed on gap analysis.
  • Oversee all end-user feedback and suggestions for product enhancement
  • Partners with our Accounting team on an integrated subledger to ensure integration accuracies and enablement within BenefitPoint
  • Partner with IT on end-user application support, product integrations, and analytics reporting by designing KPIs and providing guidance as to how to expose this data through the system
  • Drive adoption and utilization of all implemented technology
  • Lead a team of Product Analysts as it relates to their talent development and support to the field
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need

  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience managing a BenefitPoint database; EB Account Management experience preferred
  • Travel for this role will be 30%
