Overview

The Director of Enterprise Operations directs and coordinates the Information Technology Department enterprise-wide including personnel, infrastructure, software, data, processes, security, and training by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.  Develops, establishes, and maintains technology standards and procedures. Throughout the project lifecycle, obtains feedback to ensure that project efforts meet customer expectations for contracted time, cost, and performance.

 

Oversee the daily operations to include suggesting revisions, where necessary, to the process of enterprise IT operations.

  • Works within approved budget; develops and implements cost saving measures; contributes to profits and revenue; conserves organizational resources.
  • Manage the business case, selection and ongoing management of 3rd party providers for outsourced infrastructure services, including cloud services, server operations, networks, monitoring, and virtual desktop configuration. Also responsible for implementation, standardization and ongoing management of 3rd party providers delivering infrastructure services to agreed SLAs.
  • Ensure technology and data compliance, security of the information systems, communication lines, and equipment.
  • Remain current with the solutions landscape applicable to the business and recommend new solutions to solve current and anticipated business problems.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Travel is expected to be 20% in this role.

What You'll Need

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • 5+ Years of experience in managing IT operations delivering technologies through PaaS and/or IaaS hosted solutions.
  • Mastery knowledge in servers, virtual desktops, databases, website, sFTP, server and application monitoring, and public cloud environments.
  • Experience integrating new technology platforms into existing IT infrastructure and security.
  • Extensive experience in systems architecture and IT security.
  • Experience and ability to manage a team of offshore/near shore resources.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts and facilitate stakeholder meetings.
