Overview

AssuredPartners is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to lead human capital management for our Oregon and Washington locations! This is an incredible opportunity to partner with leaders across local business units to align drive engagement, productivity and business value! We expect this individual to spend time in our locations throughout Oregon and Washington, particularly in Eugene, OR and Seattle, WA.

What You'll Do

  • Provide strategic and operational HR partnership, consulting, and coaching to leaders and team members across AP Oregon & Washington.
  • Contribute to the business strategy by supporting managers to identify, prioritize, and build organizational competencies, behaviors, structure & processes.
  • Review business performance targets and their related talent implications with business leaders.
  • Support managers in planning their talent needs
  • Proactively identify staff engagement opportunities to improve and enhance employee experience. Take initiative in developing and implementing appropriate action plans.
  • Responsible for ensuring agency compliance with Federal and State laws pertaining to all HR matters. Consults with legal counsel to ensure that processes and policies comply with federal and state law.
  • Counsels managers on HR issues such as employee reviews, disciplinary actions and terminations.
  • Assists with workflow and on-going processes for the HRIS system.
  • Assists with developing a process for creating HR related work flows in the HRIS system.
  • Approves various requests in the HRIS system.
  • Manages local on-boarding process.
  • Handles unemployment claims, local surveys, etc.
  • Creates and delivers presentations for training, leadership, etc.
  • Travel is expected to be 25% in this role.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree; or a minimum of 5-7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Human Resources systems
  • PHR or SHRM- CP designations, strongly preferred.
  • Strong organization and communication skills
