AssuredPartners in Deerfield, FL is seeking a Controller to join our team! As the Controller, you will assists the CFO with monthly reports to Corporate and special projects. We are seeking a strategic financial partner to work closely with our Agency leadership team to support our growth.

• Follows company procedures with respect to all essential duties and responsibilities of the job.
• Assists Controller in meeting all deadlines associated with month end close. This will include financial statement preparation with various supporting schedules for AP Corporate office. 
• Responsible for completion of monthly internal reports for senior management. This includes Flash, Enterprise and office recaps of operations.
• Files annual reports 
• Reviews financial statements
• Assists with budget preparation for all entities
  
• Files CAT Tax, Surplus Lines and Sales tax returns
• Processes Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Assists with direct bill downloads.

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.                       
• Degree in accounting from college or technical school; or three years related experience and/or training.
• Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Preference to those with the following experience:
  • EPIC, TAM or AMS360 experience
  • Insurance brokerage or insurance company experience
  • Insurance company payables reconciliations
  • Comfortable with high volume of transactions
  • Able to consistently meet deadlines
