Job Title: Account Executive

Department: Retirement Services

Reports To: Vice President, Retirement Services

FLSA Status: Exempt

Job Code: Account Executive

Summary: The Account Executive will provide a high level of support and guidance to our 401(k) clients, TPAs and brokers.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties:  

  • Analysis of investment products
  • Develop reports for retirement client quarterly investment review
  • Coordinate all aspects of the sales process including proposals
  • Investment reviews
  • Presenting to final sales leads (finding products for lead, know when to add things to presentation)
  • Partner with TPA
  • Act as Fiduciary 3(21)
  • Year-end plan reviews
  • Responsible for client retention
  • Plans 403b, Cash Balance, 457, 401(k)
  • Start ups to $50 million plan assets
  • Regional Travel

 

 

Qualifications

  • Result oriented
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Investment and Plan experience

Skills necessary to be successful:

  • Financial services sales/service experience a plus (equity sales, managed accounts, advisory services, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Polished phone etiquette
  • Microsoft Excel experience required
  • Must be willing to work independently 

Education and/or Experience

Bachelors Degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred (not mandatory), andn four + years experience with Retirement 401(k) preferred

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

FINRA Series 6 or 7 and 63 Required

Will need to get AIF designation within first three months of hire
