The Manager of Business Development will manage a team of Senior Sales Executives. Assisting
the team with designing our growth plan within our existing client base and new business. Working
closing with the Leadership team at Pierce Group Benefits. The Manager of Business Development
also solicits and sells insurance products and services to existing and new business; maintains an
existing book of business; expands book of business; enhances the public image of the Agency
by proactively performing the following duties:

• Able to work with multiple teams within PGB to deliver benefit portfolio our clients are
accustomed to

• Maintain effective communication with team members
• Hire, train and develop a sales team
• Ride with and train new sales representatives in the market
• Prospect: working with existing PGB teams & existing clients to identify cross sell opportunities
• Work with your team to create new sales opportunities
• Participate in activities that maintain and expand current book of business
• Stay current on license and education requirements
• Other duties as assigned
• Travel is expected to be 50% in this role

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or 3-5 years of successful related experience
• Must hold appropriate and valid insurance licenses and driver’s license.
