Overview

The Financial Services Sales Executive is responsible for managing investments for group retirement plan accounts and for new and existing individual clients.  The Financial Services Sales Executive is a sophisticated sales position, demanding the ability to cultivate relationships with corporate and union clients and high net worth individuals, and also to make sound decisions in investing client funds for maximum returns.  This role requires extensive expertise in securities trading and asset management.

What You'll Do

  • Cultivates and maintains relationships with trustees of retirement and other investment funds.
  • Pursues new sales opportunities and maintains a network of high net worth individuals as investment clients.
  • Keeps abreast of the financial markets on a daily basis, as well as any news, events, or legal regulations that may impact the value of any funds or investments managed for clients.
  • Responds quickly and prudently to market information and maximizes opportunities for client and AssuredPartners financial gains.
  • Processes investment transactions for retirement funds and individual clients, in accordance with FINRA and other applicable regulations, as well as Kestra Financial protocols and requirements.
  • Takes meetings with various fund trustees, plan participants, and individual clients in the office or at other locations as needed.
  • Communicates with and directs the Administrative Assistant(s) assigned to the RIA to ensure accurate financial accounting, file-keeping, client communication, and compliance.
  • Researches information, resolves any outstanding client, transaction or paperwork issues.
  • Keeps client and company information confidential
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need

  • 5+ years of asset management and/or securities trading experience, with a proven track record of success, required.
  • Four Year college or university degree with course work in Finance, Economics or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
  • Life and Health Insurance license required.
  • FINRA Series 6 and/or 7, 65 and/or 66, and 63 licenses required.
