As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, you will manage daily activity of an assigned book of business. As a dedicated resource to our customers, you will be able to build relationships and act in a risk management capacity. Depending on licensing, experience and location, we are flexible on hybrid and flexible scheduling!

  • Obtains and submits complete customer information and applications for new and renewal business in partnership with the Producer, Senior Account Executive, or Account Executive.
  • Processes binders, proposals, lost policy releases.
  • Maintains files with proper records according to company procedures.  Maintains good internal file audits results. 
  • Build successful relationships with customers, vendors, and carriers to improve customer retention.
  • Identify gaps in coverage and consult leadership or producer of options to advise our customers
  • Support the renewal process for all assigned and prospective customers with the producer including obtaining updated information, handling renewal applications, renewal marketing, account rounding, reviewing and facilitating the renewal pricing including preparing the renewal proposal, and binders.
  • Ensures accuracy of account information for both new and renewal policies, signatures, and enters these transactions to generate billing invoices in a timely manner.
  • Help grow the assigned book of business through account rounding and referrals
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • 3+ years working with commercial insurance products, preferably in an agency setting in a similar function.
  • Active Insurance License Required (2-20, 4-40)
  • Preference to those with Sagitta experience
