The HR Communications Manager leads internal communications for the Human Resources function. Working alongside HR Leadership, this role will create clear and concise communications around HR programs and initiatives that reinforce AssuredPartners’ brand and connect employees to broader company priorities.

Please note that the duties below can vary based on the workflow of your local office.

  • Serves as the liaison for the human resource leadership team, providing guidance and advice on integrated communication strategies to inspire employees and support talent acquisition, retention, productivity, and policy compliance.
  • Partner with Marketing on integrated Marketing Calendar to ensure coordinated timing of communication to employees that will help drive clarity, keeping employee experience at the center of decision making.
  • Manages company presence Facebook, LinkedIn, and blog including site management, postings, monitoring of usage, and content as it relates to HR and Talent initiatives.
  • Partner with teams to develop employee facing communication that aligns with brand guidelines and business needs.
  • Proactively develop standards, processes, and best practices for rapid content creation and communications.
  • Interact and work closely with Senior Leadership to determine specific messaging needs to align communication goals with the overall HR objectives.
  • Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines simultaneously.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree; or 2+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1+ year experience in Communications with heavy emphasis on writing.
  • Ability to think and operate creatively and work independently. 
  • Proficiency and knowledge of and experience using Microsoft Office products including Word and Outlook.
  • Detail-oriented, deadline driven, and able to handle a high-volume workload.
  • Strong organization and communication skills.
